All 8th grade students in Lafourche Parish tour the Lafourche Parish Career Magnet Center & meet with employers to learn about career paths as well as the CMC’s programs.

Oct 6-10 is National Manufacturing Week. High school Juniors/Seniors will tour manufacturing companies throughout the region and learn about career opportunities.

LWC is partnering with Fletcher Technical Community College to help organize and promote their regional job fair which is open to the public.

Nov 12th & 13th  at BP’s Ops Learning Center held for local high school female Juniors in the region to hear successful female presenters that currently work in the Energy industry.

Dec 2nd 7:30am-12pm at the Civic Center in Houma. Career Fair for all high school graduating students in Terrebonne Parish.

The annual banquet consists of approximately 200 guests with a guest speaker.  The Teenager of the Year Scholarship and Business of the Year Award are announced at this event. Doors open at 5 p.m. with a social hour, the program begins at 6 p.m.
