What to Expect

Participants will engage in four in-person sessions featuring expert speakers and panel discussions from across Louisiana including the LSU Center for Entergy Studies. Each session focuses on a core component of the energy ecosystem, including the state of the energy industry across upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. Topics also include offshore oil and natural gas activity in the Gulf of America, emerging technologies and innovation, and the regulatory and policy considerations that influence investment and growth.

Sessions are designed to be interactive and practical. Participants will gain real-world insight into how energy, workforce, and economic development intersect in the Bayou Region.

In addition to classroom-style sessions, the series will host corresponding field trips throughout the year. These experiences will align with program topics and provide first-hand exposure to energy operations, infrastructure, and innovation across the region.
